Collection DescriptionIncludes minutes of the National Executive and various subcommittees, the parliamentary party and the national youth committee, as well as election material, constituency files, and organisational files. Also contains material relating to the split with Sinn Féin and the party's evolution, the party's involvement with anti-partitition movements in Britain and elsewhere, press cuttings on Northern Ireland, American fundraising and the foundation of the Irish Press newspaper, party periodicals, publications and photographs.

Correspondence between de Valera and his supporters in the US concerning the formation of a new newspaper and other matters, includes a letter from Dorothy Macardle resigning from the Fianna Fáil National Executive saying `I could have nothing to do with asking Irish men and women to take that oath and I could not vote for them to take it in my name', 29 August 1927.
