Description | 'A compleat abstract of the deeds belonging to the Guild of St Anne in the Church of St Audoen, Dublin: together with the abstracts of the deeds and grants relating to the said Guild; to which are added lists of the several papers and writings in the custody of the said Guild. Collected, digested, and transcribed, and such as are in Latin carefully and correctly translated. By J.G., Clerk of the Guild, AD 1772'. Contains some information on women, for example, an indenture dated 1771 between Ann Brooks and Richard Manders, both of Dublin, property and a bakery business. File also contains a list of the tenants of various properties in Dublin, names of women also listed. The manuscript volume contains abstracts from the deed of the Guild dating from the 1550s to the 17th century; also a list 'Petitions to be admitted Brothers and Sisters of Saint Ann's (sic) Guild', from 1650 to 1771, includes women. |
