| Description | District inspector's observation book, Meelick Female National School, with entries from 18 May 1874 to 10 January 1958. From 1889 onwards there are numerous inserts pasted and pinned in, all reports from the inspectors, most of these are on printed forms with manuscript additions though there are some towards the end of the book which are typewritten. The language is English up to 1924 and from then on bilingual with an emphasis on Irish. |
