Description | Letter from M.H. O'Connor, Senior Medical Officer to Canon Waters, Chaplain at Mountjoy Prison, 17 November 1922 about Mary MacSwiney. 'The prisoner Mary MacSwiney has asked me to report to you as Chaplain when she becomes dangerously ill. While she is not apparently in danger of imminent death it can be definitely stated that she is at present in a weak and dangerous condition, and may at any moment collapse'. |
