Description | 'The NDU Invincibles' 14 May 1923. A handwritten journal of eight pages of prison lore and satire by Miss Gobnait Ní Bhruadair while a prisoner in the North Dublin Union. The pieces include a scathing criticism of the governor, an exhortation to fellow prisoners to overcome the temptation to fall into disunity which the author claims is what the military guards are watching for. |
