Manuscripts These are written in longhand and bound in matching sets. They contain, for example, 'Delina Delaney', 6 volumes, notes for this book 1 to 5 versions in five volumes; 'Six months in Hell', 1 to 19 versions in 19 volumes.
Correspondence with T.S. Mercer, about 50 letters, in chronological order and covering the years 1927-1937, 259 pages. They all deal with her writing, her financial speculations with regard to her publications, her critics, etc.
Typescripts, these consist of transcriptions done by T.S. Mercer, they include 'Delina Delaney', 3 versions in 3 volumes, 'Irene Iddesleigh', 4 versions in 2 volumes.
There are first editions of all Ros's books, 16 volumes.
Association material includes articles on Mrs Ros, and copies of books by Marie Corelli, R.M. Roches, and others. There are also a number of files containing hundreds of letters addressed to Mrs Ros, these include Mrs Erskine Childers, also files containing typed copies of her letters to local newspapers and others, relating to lawsuits, her brother's death in Australia, etc. |
