DescriptionLetter Thesalonika 2 September 1946. On leave. 'Spent the weekend at the American Farm School. A wooden barracks built during the war to accommodate the Farm School staff while Germans occupied their houses. The girls are supposedly prepared to become leaders of a better way in their villages. Last year .. half of them had scabies'. Journey by staff car to Kastoria.
