Description | Wright Letters, O to X, 1795-1862. The Wright family of Waterford and Dublin, merchants and linen drapers, were related to the Gatchells of Waterford. There are a considerable number of letters relating to the winding up of the firm of Gatchell-Walpole, glass manufacturers of that city, 1835-1836. O Miscellaneous papers, unsorted. II Eight copies of letters of Jonathan Gatchell, 1800-1825. VII Scrappy diary kept between 1832 and 1835, possibly by the wife of Jonathan Wright. Ends 31 July 1835 'Left the Glass Shop'. IX 30 letters from Thomas and Elizabeth (Walpole) Knott of Exeter, 1831-1837. Most refer to the winding up of the Gatchell-Walpole Glass works, Waterford.
