9 - A. Thompson to Bray. The Catholic Bill has been adjourned, some more disqualifications against the franchise were removed, marriage to Catholic wives and education clauses were also discussed, Dublin, 28 February.

28 - Dr Moylan to Bray. Regrets not having written as he has been busy with the establishment of the Sisters of Charitable Instruction. On the previous day five were professed, one made final profession, besides there are four novices and one postulant, the sisters engage in teaching poor children; hopes the work will advance the cause of religion, a foundation is to be made in Killarney, Miss Looby is welcome to the institution, Cork, 16 August.
