The archive of the Most Rev. Michael Kieran, Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland 1866-1869. The papers are divided into I: Hierarchy, II Political, III Education, IV Religious.

I. Hierarchy: Includes 20 April 1868, Letter of Most Rev. Dr Kieran, gives faculties to absolve the parties in this sad case 'on condition of exacting from the priest a solemn promise in the tribunal that he will remove the housekeeper within three months of this day'.

15 May 1869 Letter of the Most Rev Dr Kieran 'I appoint you, Mr Chadwick and Mr McDonagh, trustees for the management of the bequest which the late Dr Gernor left to the Sisters of Charity'.

IV. Religious: Includes 28 June 1869, letter of the Most Rev. Dr Kieran 'You can tell the superior of the Presentation convent that I give her permission to receive into her community as a postulant, the young woman about whom you have written to me', also want more devotions begun in Dunleer district.

4 November 1867, letter of Most Rev. Dr Kieran regarding a Sister denouncing a cleric.
