| Description | Letters of Cardinal Logue addressed to Most Reverend W.J. Walsh, Archbishop of Dublin, as copied by Reverend Dr Toner, includes: 31 December 1913, 'I generally give a dinner to the lay gentlemen of the Parish at Xmas, and well they deserve it, for no people could be more agreeable and generous'. Then goes on to refer to the matter already discussed in the previous letter regarding dispute about the Loretto Nuns, and tells how he had sent document to O'Riordan which he might, if he wished, translate and leave with the Holy Father. |
