| Description | Meetings of the Episcopal Standing Committee, includes: Printed letter, signed by Most Reverend Robert Browne, Bishop of Cloyne - 'I am directed to inform Your Lordship that the Episcopal Standing Committee at their meeting on the 18th inst., decided to defer the examination of Nun-candidates in the Programme for the First Year's King's Scholars till Easter Week, 1917. Consequently there will be no Easter examination of Nuns in the present year, 1916. The Programme of the examination to be held at Easter, 1917, will be the same as that which candidates were to present at the examination next Easter, except the Subjects are divided into 'Obligatory' and 'Optional', 2 February 1916. |
