O'Connell, General Secretary of Irish National Teachers Organisation, addressed to Dr O'Donnell, - 'I have received your letter intimating to me your intention of not interfering further in the case of Mrs Flanagan who has been dismissed from her school at Kilkeel by her Manager. For many reasons I regret extremely Your Lordship's decision', 24 July 1916. Letter of T.J. O'Connell, General Secretary, Irish National Teachers' Organisation, addressed to Most Reverend Dr O'Donnell, - 'I have your letter of 1st inst., and in accordance with your request I return herewith Mrs Flanagan's letter which you enclosed. I thoroughly appreciate Your Lordship's reluctance to entertain any further correspondence in connection with this case, but I would respectfully impress upon you that it is one which not alone concerns Mrs Flanagan but every Catholic Teacher in Ireland', 5 August 1916. |
