Description | Letter of Sister M. de Sales, St Malachy's, Dundalk, addressed to Most Reverend Dr Dixon - 'Father Hanratty called here on Friday asking for Sisters to go to Drogheda. I thought they were not wanting as the Sisters were established in Father Mathew's Parish. I also heard of a resolution to be past for their visiting the Jail, etc. etc. I am anxious to know Your Grace's wishes on the subject before I give an answer to Father Hanratty. It will only be at Your Grace's desire I shall send Sisters for that foundation, and Ardee will then thin our Community very much'., 30 July 1855. |
