Description1795.05/60/1850 Letter from the Rev. O'Hea, Rosscarbery to Bishop T Murphy about proselytising and the Townsends. 27 May 1850, 'I did not wish writing to you on the state of this parish'. Proselytising prevalent for three or four years. Mr Townsend and Miss Townsend very busy. Gives list of parents and children connected with the proselytising schools. Asks Bishop's permission to introduce severe measures if necessary.
