Description | 1796.05/190/1858 Letter of Revd E.J. Murphy, Banteer, to Bishop W. Keane, Mercy Convent, Kanturk. 'On my return this afternoon, from the romantic district of Kilcorney,' was visited by a respectable, religious individual. He asked to say to the Bishop that if a serious move were made towards getting a suitable house for a branch of the Sisters of Mercy he would give £500. The move would need to place within 12 months, 9 August 1858. |
