| Description | 1796.06/19/1859 Letter Revd T. Murphy, Youghal, to Bishop W. Keane. He acknowledges the Bishop's favour in respect of Ellen McCarthy. He tells the strange tale of the couple. The Duke of Devonshire visited Youghal last Friday and had an interview with him. They discussed business. He asked for a written statement of all matters treated of. This Father Murphy did and delivered it to Lismore next morning, 17 May 1859. |
