Description

1796.06/15/1861 Letter from Sister M B O'Neil, Mercy Convent, Queenstown, to Bishop Keane. She had hoped the Bishop would visit Queenstown as she wished to talk to him about Sister M Josephine. She is better after her stay in Kinsale. Revd. Mother there declined to keep her longer as she could not take charge of her alone. Sister M de Sales is needed for the schools. She makes some suggestions about the Sister's future, and asks his advice on these. She also asks about admitting Sister Veronica's sister as a lay sister, they are badly in need of one for the orphanage. She makes some proposals on this head for his consideration, 8 April 1861.
