1796.07/27/1861 Letter from Mrs M Conners, widow, to Bishop Keane. `I have been a widow these 15 years' was left with 3 daughters. The second daughter was living with her aunt in Freemount. She was married there but then came back to live with her mother and other daughter and son-in-law. There has trouble from Revd. Mr Cotter, parish priest and the curate Revd. Mr Duggan. She is satisfied they are acting in accordance to her conscience, but she is an innocent victim and so submits her case to the Bishop for his consideration, hoping he will be pleased to investigate 'and adjust it', 17 June 1861.
