1796.06/38/1861 Letter from Sister M C Hughes, Presentation Convent, Mitchelstown, to Bishop W Keane. Since the Bishop sanctioned Miss Clery's joining the community a letter has been received from her father. He states that in justice to the elder members of his family he cannot adhere to his original argeement and proposes a new one. She outlines reasons for acceeding to this and asks for an immediate response from the Bishop, 16 September 1861.
