| Description | /1, DU Co-operative Society Buffet suggestion/scrap book, 1920-1944 /2/1-12, Loose sheets of presscuttings re. Jean Montgomery in Trinity College Dublin, and reviews of her book 'That men may eat' (Quota Press 1939). /2/13, Seating arrangements on occasion of Jean Montgomery's honorary degree 3/1-11, Photographs of Jean Montgomery including two of her in academicals (3/1-2), one with an old TCD kitchen spit (3/5); one of the Dining Hall, set for dinner (3/6), and one of her holding gun, with Free State soldiers, on steps of Chapel 1922 (3/7). These soldiers were billetted in College during the attack on the Four Courts in 1922 and Montgomery had 2 officers and 21 men to find provisions for in a city under fire (see Parkes (ed.), A danger to the men, p. 95). /4/1, Thank you letter from E.
