|1796.06/2/1865 Letter from P D McDonnell, Honorary Secretary, Catholic Institute for the Deaf and Dumb, Dublin. His committee have learned from the Collector, that there is a man in Ballyhea parish, who has 5 deaf and dumb daughters. He wrote to Revd. M Keppell, asking him to use his influence with the Board of Guardians to have them transferred to the Institution under the care of the Nuns of St Mary's Cabra, 7 February 1865.
