Description | 1796.04/28/1862 Letter from Bishop J.B. Purcell, Cincinnati, to Bishop W. Keane, Fermoy. 'A worthy woman, maiden name, Hennessy, was married to a shoemaker' Timothy Mead, Fermoy. She left him, with his consent, 17 years ago and came to America. Her daughter has died and her brother is here now also. She wants to know if her husband is alive or dead. He asks the Bishop if he could get this information for her, 17 October 1862. |
