'Instead of asking your permission to receive a Postulant I am going to beg of you to help me reject one'. She gives a long account of the young lady in question who is from Dublin. She applied a year ago but deferred coming due to the cold weather and then they heard nothing until she turned up out of the blue the other day, 24 January 1862. |
