1796.06/27/1864 Letter from Sister M J Croke, Mercy Convent, Charleville, to Bishop W Keane. Her three years of government of the community end next month. Shall they consider Dr Croke duly authorised to act as before? She discusses the question of a vote for a professed sister in the Noviceship. She is uneasy about her beloved brother and asks the Bishop to get him to leave the country for a while. It would be dreadful if anything happened to him, 18 April 1864.
