Reference | Box BB |
Description | 1796.05/96/1864 Letter from Revd. T. Murphy, Youghal, to Bishop W. Keane, Queenstown. 'Every application made by Father Kelly, S.J. and myself' for Sister M. Agatha to be received into another Convent has failed. Consequently she is determined to leave the Convent. She is not satisfied with the financial arrangements made by the convent, asked her for her proposal. The community could not accept that and gave reasons. Mrs Gould would be happy to add something to the £200 rather than consent to any life annuity. Sister Agatha is writing to the Bishop so the writer wishes to give him the Sisters' views, 27 April 1864. |
