Her eldest son, Rodolphe is to make his 1st Communion on 3 July in Bayeaux Cathedral. She asks the Bishop to join with him in the Novena they are making for Rodolphe. She lists the prayers they intend saying. She got a special blessing for her son, from the Pope himself. She transcribes the words of the blessing which is dated 8 June 1864, 19 June 1864.
