Description | 1796.07/67/1864 Letter from Alicia Jones, Eccles Street, To Bishop W. Keane, relating to property in Mallow. She gave directions to Mr Baggs of Mallow to sell the Houses there, until this is done, she cannot do anything about an annuity. Before she got ill she wrote to Father J. McCarthy, offering £20 per annum from her death to that of Mrs James Jones, at which time the annunity of £50 per annum becomes available to the Christian Brothers, provided he had 3 masses a week said for her during that time. Father John declined. There are several communities ready and anxious to avail of the offer, 26 December 1864. |
