Personal Letters:
Letters to Cecilia Kavanagh, 1933-1939.
Twelve manuscript letters from Patrick, Inniskeen, Dundalk, County Monaghan. Mainly of a sociable nature, reporting on home and farm affairs with some references to his poetic writings and contributions to the Dublin Magazine, The Weekly, The New Statesman and others.

1 Letter which includes reference to a paragraph in the Sunday Chronicle written about Patrick and comparing him with Francis Ledwidge, 'young Meath poet'. Also a manuscript poem 'for Cecilia', 14 September 1933.

2 Letter which includes reference to the poem he wrote 'for Cecilia', September 1933.

3 Letter with reference to Cecilia's request to have some of Patrick's poems. States that at the moment his poems are with Frank O'Connor, Autumn 1933.

4 Letter which includes manuscript poem 'Gay Cities', December 1933.

5 Letter dated 22 March 1934.

6 Letter which includes reference to a number of poems Kavanagh recently wrote, 30 May 1934.

7 Letter which includes an admission of falling in love, in vain. Also reference to his poems printed in January issue of the Dublin Magazine and includes two poems, 18 December 1934.

8 Letter which includes reference to his poems printed in the Dublin Magazine, 26 February 1935.

9 Letter which includes reference to some poems which Kavanagh was writing and a manuscript poem, 8 October 1933.

10 Letter which includes reference to a new poem published in the Dublin Magazine and states that he will be reading it on Radio Athlone, 30 January 1937.

11 Letter which includes reference to a story he wrote for the Irish Press and another for the 'Irish Times'. Also a book of verse which he had published, 18 January 1937.

12 Letter dated 25 April 1939.
