Description | An extract from the Armagh Guardian regarding the benevolence of Mrs Flavell, 'This lady with her usual considerable kindness, entertained the aged inmates of the Workhouse yesterday, (Easter Sunday) with a plentiful repast of tea and cakes. It is conduct such as this has endeared her to the hearts of the poor of Armagh, and makes them look forward with sorrow to her contemplated removal', 21 April 1851. |
