An extract from the Church of Ireland Gazette on the life of the late Mrs D'Arcy, wife of the Primate of Armagh, 'who had lightened the pressures and cares of his office, and had given him a tranquil and restful home ... she took the keenest interest in the various organisations for women ... her life was a life spent ... in the most unselfish devotion to every good cause', 29 July 1932.
