|1796.06/8/1861 Letter from Sister M Baptist, Mercy Convent, Queenstown, to Bishop Keane. Had a visit from Mr O'Leary who has a perfumer's shop in Cork, with a note from the Cork sisters about his daughter who wishes to enter here. Father outlines what he is prepared to do for her. The Bishop knows the financial state of the Convent, they could not afford to take her on those grounds, 10 February 1861.
