Description | Foundation cash book detailing monthly receipts for, and expenditure on, foundations. Includes two pages of data on the burial of victims of the 1916 Rising received from the military authorities and Dublin hospitals between 29 April and 2 May 1916 records of the burial of a total of 45 from gunshot wounds, but lists only 24, 6 soliders, all identified, 18 civilians, 9 indentified, 9 unknown. Grave locations provided, casualities buried three and four to a grave, some uncoffined. Amongst the dead were two brothers, Ernest and William Farnsworth, British Army Privates of 16 Ashover, Terrace, Manning Street, Nottingham and an unindentified boy interned 'in a pit'. 10 of the victims were entered in the Internment Register in July 1918, May 1903-May 1916. |
