Appointed to the Board of Health which attempted to cope with the ravages of the potato famine and a promoter of the Vartry water scheme: 'the water supplied to the Whitworth and Hardwicke Hospitals is heavily loaded with impurities'. On the staff of the House of Industry Hospitals, and others during his career. Collection includes detailed medical case books (c.1833 on). |
