Description | 30 A file of letters from Amy Coleridge, Royal Pavilion Hotel, Folkestone and 36 Hyde Park, London, to Fr Russell concerning a copy of Lord Coleridge's privately printed poems. Remarks '... it will give me great pleasure if you will keep it in memory of the friendship that existed between the two Lord Chief Justices'. Refers to Fr Coleridge's will and the executors of his will. Remarks that the copyright of Fr Coleridge's letters belongs to Fr J. Johnson, a co-executor. Remarks that she was the executor of her husband's (Lord Coleridge) estate. Concludes 'My husband more than once said to me he wished a Chief Justice on retirement might appoint his successor, because he would certainly choose Sir Charles Russell', 22 June[ ] -29 July 1905. |
