Talks of her faith and remarks 'I think very likely you would not agree with me when I say I think I am "of a fairly pious frame of mind"'. Continues 'I am much obliged for the kind interest you express in my soul's welfare. I have had so many good kind Catholic friends who have tried to bring me into the fold.' A note attached to the letter indicates that Mary Mitchel was the sister of John Mitchel, 2 items. |
