Description | 98 5 April [ ]. Letter from Mary Mitchell Downe Terrace, Richmond, Surrey, England, to Fr Russell concerning Judge John O'Hagan and a memoir on him to be published. Remarks that she does not know when or where the memoir is to be published. Talks of her faith and remarks 'I think very likely you would not agree with me when I say I think I am "of a fairly pious frame of mind"'. Continues 'I am much obliged for the kind interest you express in my soul's welfare. I have had so many good kind Catholic friends who have tried to bring me into the fold.' A note attached to the letter indicates that Mary Mitchel was the sister of John Mitchel, 2 items. |
