106 A file relating to Rosa Mulholland (Lady Gilbert) 74 Harley Street, London, to Fr Russell concerning her writing and personal matters. Includes a letter to Fr Russell. Refers to a meeting with Aubrey de Vere. Remarks that she '...like(d) him greatly. He is not at all like what I expected. I did not at all recognise at first the "poetic head", and "silvery voice" you described...'. Includes a copy of a story entitled 'My First Picture. A Tale by R.M.' (Rosa Mulholland) published in the London Society. A pencil notation by Fr Russell reads 'This was Lady Gilbert's (Rosa Mulholland) first prose in London [ ] here was her first poetry', 7 August 1863 -3 April 1878, 7 items.
