Description | 18 Letter from O'Hagan to his 'dear Sister' Marianne, informing her of his forthcoming wedding. 'The young Lady is Fanny O'Hagan daughter of the Judge as excellent a girl in [ever]y sense as lives. I do not know any one more calculated to make me happy and I am sure I will do my best to make her so. Our marriage is to take place on this day fortnight i.e. the day before Advent. Dr Russell of Maynooth who has been such a dear Friend both of the Judge's and my own is to marry us', 1[5] November 1865 |
