Description | 14 14 February 1910. Letter from Elodie Belloc to Fr Russell thanking him for a copy of the 'Irish Monthly'. Expresses her gratitude for Fr Russell's '.. great appreciation of my dear husband. Refers to her life and her husband's life in England 'It is almost impossible for anyone to whom God has not given it to suffer to know what it is for two militant and convinced Catholics to live in England. But his love and companionship and the security of the Faith constitute an unmerited reward'. Remarks that she has decided to visit France (from where this letter is written) with her children despite flooding in the area. |
