Description | Royal Hospital Sunday [Fund-raising] Scheme Minutes: 1886-1905 1916-1935 The 2 bound, handwritten minute books include details of the scheme, which appears to have been largely cleric run, although some women are listed as members. The books also contain printed circulars, press cuttings and references to female staff members. For instance, Miss Musson, Matron of the hospital 'addressed the meeting and made some valuable suggestions to how the public, especially the farmers, could help the hospital by providing potatoes, vegetables, eggs and fruit', 5 April 1932. |
