Description | Royal Hospital Saturday [Fund-raising] Scheme Minutes: 1884-1893 1894-1916 These 2 bound, handwritten minute books contain some press cuttings and printed reports which list collectors for this scheme, including the names of numerous women. For instance, it was recorded that 'Mr Black suggested that the Lord Mayor write asking Ladies to attend a meeting to be held in the Townhall' in connection with the fund-raising efforts of the Hospital Saturday Scheme, 1 August 1894. |
