The committal notes that Martha Loudin, 'being a Protestant Dissenter was illegally married to William Quigley, a Roman Catholic...Now we hereby authorize you to receive and keep in safe custody, the bodies of said Martha Loudin and William Quigley in your gaol, for the space of three years, without bail or mainprize, unless they shall sooner submit to be examined...before some of His Majesty's Justices of the peace'. |
