|Speaker's Committee Minute Book, 14 January 1944-8 May 1947. Handwritten and some typescript. The meeting, 16 November 1944 recorded 'Lady Eleanor spoke of the young wives campaign that had been organised in England under the auspices of the MU and suggested that the Speakers' Committee should organise a day for younger members. On further discussion it was decided to hold this exhibition on the Friday of Synod Week, May 12. It was suggested that competent speakers should be asked to speak on members of interest to young parents and that the Literature committee be asked to organise stalls for the sale of suitable literature'.
