| Description | Letters to E Fitzgerald, Knight of Kerry. Large album with letters, photographs, press cuttings, etc., pasted in. Letters to Fitzgerald include several from Miss Cecelia Julia Bardier, in Cannes, France, where she was attacked while walking: the Knight took up her case, as she was not believed by the French officials. Other correspondence from women include his 'very creditable' granddaughter, Julia E M Molyneux, who illustrated her letters with humorous sketches. Many of the photographs are of women Mrs Head, Mrs Newton (Dunleckiny (?)], Lady Ventry. Collection indexed. |
