Description

William Lavery assault on his wife. It was noted that Lavery was ‘subject to paroxysms of rage occasionally which amount almost to insanity’. A petition signed by a number of individuals from Lurgan, where he lived and worked, claimed his wife had ‘wasted his little stock of money… left his protection …’ stealing and then pawning his clothes.
