Description | Reference made to the ordination of women as ministers and to the fact that 21 Presbyteries had voted that women should be eligible for nomination as students for the ministry and ordination. As only 3 Presbyteries opposed this measure, it was passed after 'having lain on the Books for one year, and having been sent down to the Presbyteries under the Banner Act, to be made the law of the Church', June 1973. |
