Description | This part of the collection comprises the papers of the biographers of Terence MacSwiney, Etienette Beuque (whose work was never published) and Moirin Chevasse, whose biography of MacSwiney was published in 1962. Beuque's material includes extensive information provided by Mary and Annie MacSwiney, with references to Máire Óg MacSwiney and Muriel MacSwiney, also correspondence with Dorothy Macardle, Pauline Henley, Mrs Cathal Brugha, Natalie Murphy, Hanna Sheehy Skeffington, Sighle McAmhlaoibh, Bridget Walsh, Mary O'Kelly, Mrs Máirín Ryan. Also includes copies of Terence MacSwiney's diary 1902-1913, with references to his mother's illness, death and funeral, his friendship with Bridget Walsh and his sisters becoming nuns.

Ó Buachalla and Máire Brugha (Terence MacSwiney's daughter). Also included are papers and letters of the MacSwiney family, letters of Terence MacSwiney to Muriel MacSwiney, his aunt and sisters, letters of Muriel MacSwiney, correspondence and statements of Annie MacSwiney, correspondence of Mary MacSwiney, Kit MacSwiney (Sr Francis Xavier), copybook containing manuscript draft of a book 'Mary MacSwiney: her Life and Times', written by Kit or Margaret MacSwiney, covering her life to 1906, unfinished.
