'Reefer and the Model':

Story in which pregnant hitchhiker from London 'The Model', a former prostitute, joins up with other peripheral characters - Reefer, Spider and Badger. Intolerance of Badger's sexuality leads to a fight with an army sergeant which later results in Reefer killing the officer. When the ship's engine fails the crew members embark on a bank raid in order to raise money for their escape. This, however, is catastrophic and results in the death of Spider and some guards. In the end Badger is imprisoned and Reefer is left floundering in the sea as his out of control trawler sails away. The Model is at the wheel giving birth.
