Film about Irish emigrants' experiences in London. One emigrant meets, amongst others, an obsessed English soccer fan, another peculiar Englishman, who uses code words on the phone, a stripper who performs in a pub, and a madman on a hill who cries out for Armageddon to wipe away the urban decay. The feeling of difference experienced by the Irish emigrants in such a strange environment is reinforced by the sue of hand-held camera style.
