An hour long drama which examines the stress of marriage break-up in a country where divorce is prohibited (Ireland) by both the State and the Church. Two nouveau riche couples celebrate Christmas Eve together, get drunk and reveal their secrets. When one of the men admits to having an affair with the other's wife things turn sour and the four are forced to remove their public masks and look at the real truth about themselves. 'Criminal Conversation' is a legal term often used for adultery.
